APET Course Description
Designed for leaders and trainers involved in values inculcation and professional character development at an Army school, center, or unit. Graduates will be well-versed in the most effective instructional methods and techniques for character development and skilled in the use of CAPE tools and instructional resources related to the Army Profession of Arms, Ethic and Culture.
The APET course is given by the MAPET in the applicable unit or institution. Additionally there will be an APET course given at West Point just prior to the MAPET course in order for prospective MAPET attendees to meet the APET completion requirement.
APET participants will be responsible for the travel costs to West Point. There is no cost associated with the course and all materials will be provided.
